Hello, I’m Anna Crandlemire
I use gentle touch with skilled, intuitive hands to re-balance your nervous system, release tension and revitalize your body.
You will find a safe, calm and caring presence to rest in during your treatment session.
I help your body to heal by using two gentle and non-invasive modalities: craniosacral therapy and foot reflexology therapy. Then, I help you to integrate the changes on the table, repattern your posture and movement by guiding you through corrective exercises.
I have been practicing Craniosacral therapy since 2016, and Reflexology since March of 2019. My practice locations are in East Ottawa (Blackburn Hamlet) and Central Ottawa (New Edinburgh). With the onset of the Covid-19 lockdown in March 2019, I have started offering Craniosacral Therapy and Mindful Movement sessions online or by phone. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see my full bio.
I especially enjoy working with older adults, men or women. My goal is to help you live with less pain, greater mobility and greater vitality of mind, body and spirit.

My Story
I feel fortunate to have been led to three holistic, powerful healing modalities, Craniosacral therapy, Reflexology and Somatic Groundwork (mindful movement).
I excelled in high school and the first 2 years of university, but, at that time, did not have any inkling of a career choice. My 20’s and 30’s were spent raising a family of three, and supporting my husband’s business as his office administrator. Then came the mid-life crisis of the 40’s when I felt the stirring of unfulfillment and dis-use of my talents. Two major self-development projects started in that decade – partnering with a wellness company to educate consumers on healthier choices, and participating in Toastmasters’ leadership and public speaking programs. I considered returning to university to finish my Health Sciences degree several times. However, when I took my first craniosacral therapy training in 2016, I realized that I was being given tools to help people in ways that traditional health sciences are not able to. I added foot reflexology to my practice in 2019 and have found it a powerful adjunct to the craniosacral tools.
In over 4 years of practice, I have helped clients to
- Heal from concussions
- Sleep better
- Improve cognitive function after chemotherapy
- Recover from older adult NPH (normal pressure hydrocephalus)
- Stop the cycle of constant headaches
- Reduce vertigo
- Improve cognitive function in early stage dementia
- Stop the cycle of recurring bronchitis
- Reduce flare-ups of muscle/joint pain
- Reduce stress, anxiety and depression
- Have more energy
- Cope with grief after losing a spouse
- Improve their vision after blow to head
- Improve vitality
- Re-balance fascia after broken ankle
- Reduce stiffness due to Parkinson’s
- Heal from sciatic pain
- Heal from Bell’s Palsy
- Reduce PMS symptoms
- Reduce hot flashes
- Heal sciatic nerve pain
An important part of integrating the changes that happen on the table during CST and reflexology is breathing with gentle movement, specifically repatterning/neuroplasticity exercise, such as Feldenkrais and Somatics. I am currently training in this area, and am enjoying integrating movement awareness into my manual therapy sessions. I’m also completing my Seniors Fitness Instructor Designation to be able to lead group classes for older adults.
I look forward to ‘touching’ more and more lives, helping clients to relax, re-balance, and work out the kinks.
